Granular Team Management

FlyWP provides granular team management for updating team members’ roles, ensuring that each person has the appropriate permissions and access needed to perform their tasks efficiently.

This guide will walk you through the steps to update a team member’s role in FlyWP. Let’s get started.

How to Manage Granular Team Permission in FlyWP

Step 1: First of all, Login to your FlyWP account by entering your “Email” and “Password”

Step 2: You will see your FlyWP dashboard. Now, click on the “Down Arrow” button from the top-right corner.
Click on the specific “Team” where you want to update the role of the team members.

Now, click on the “Team” menu below from the same drop-down menu.

Step 3: You will see the list of existing team members in the Team Members section. Click on the “Update Role” button on the right side of the specific User.

Step 4: An Update Member Role modal will be popped-up. Choose the “Role” as you prefer.

  • You can choose the role either “Site-specific” or “Whole sites” and also “Server-specific” or “Server-wide”
  • You can utilize the “Search” field if your site and server list is too long to speed up the process.

Note:

  • Admin: The Admin user can perform any action except the billing management. They can create a server, create a site, delete a server, delete a site, add or remove team members, and update the roles.
  • Server Admin: The Server Admin can manage the already created servers and manage sites, but can’t create a new server or delete an existing one. You can also limit your team members to a specific server.
  • Site Admin: The Site Admin can create, update, and delete sites from the server. You can limit your team members to a specific site as well.

Step 5: Then click on the “Update” button in the bottom-right corner. You’re done.
