September was a big month for FlyWP.
Across three major releases, we introduced smarter ways to stay informed, expanded FlyWP beyond WordPress with modern JavaScript framework support, improved backup and support workflows, and continued strengthening the reliability of everyday infrastructure management.
We also opened the FlyWP White Label Beta Program, giving agencies, freelancers, and WordPress businesses an opportunity to explore building their own branded hosting business on top of FlyWP.
Here’s everything we shipped in September.
🚀 New Features
Smarter Notifications
FlyWP now has a full-fledged notification system designed to keep you informed about the events that matter.
The new system includes 43 alerts across 9 categories, covering important infrastructure events such as stopped or failed backups, expired Git tokens, certificates approaching expiration, maintenance mode, and failed deployments.
Notifications are available directly inside FlyWP through a new notification bell and dedicated notification history page.
You can also control which notifications you receive, while seven critical alerts remain enabled to help ensure important events aren’t missed.
Repeated alerts for the same resource are grouped within a cooldown window to keep your notification history clean and actionable.
Less noise. More visibility. Better awareness.
Next.js, Nuxt & Astro Support Through Git

FlyWP is expanding beyond WordPress.
You can now deploy and manage Next.js, Nuxt, and Astro applications through Git, bringing modern Node.js application workflows into FlyWP.
The new deployment workflow supports:
- Next.js, Nuxt, and Astro
- Node.js 24, 22, and 20
- Node versions resolved from
engines.node - Git-based deployments
git pull --ff-onlydeployment workflows- Multiple package manager options
- Server or Static runtime
- A shared Compose generator and Debian-based Node image
This means you can now manage modern Node-based applications alongside your existing WordPress infrastructure from the same platform.
FlyWP Public API Is Back
The FlyWP Public API is back online, with improvements and changes designed to provide a stronger foundation for developers and teams building integrations and automated workflows around FlyWP.
Backup Provider Credential Updates & Automatic Fan-Out

Managing backup credentials across multiple servers is now much easier.
You can update backup provider credentials from a single place, and FlyWP automatically propagates the updated profile to every server connected to that integration.
Rotate your credentials once. Propagate everywhere.
Secure Support Sessions
Support access has been redesigned with greater customer control and transparency.
Instead of traditional impersonation, support sessions now require a customer-generated code before access can begin.
Every session is:
- Customer-authorized
- Time-limited
- Revocable
- Fully audited
This gives the support team the access needed to troubleshoot issues while keeping customers in control of when that access is granted.
Backup Destination Verification
FlyWP can now verify your backup destination before saving your backup configuration.
When you save your settings, FlyWP writes, reads, and deletes a probe file to verify that the destination is working correctly.
For edge cases, you can still use the Save anyway option.
Verify first. Back up with confidence.
Ubuntu 26.04 LTS Support
FlyWP now supports Ubuntu 26.04 LTS as a server operating system.
You can provision Ubuntu 26.04 LTS servers across:
- DigitalOcean
- Vultr
- Akamai
- Hetzner
- AWS regions
Ubuntu 24.04 LTS remains the default for new server provisioning, giving you the flexibility to choose the operating system that best fits your infrastructure requirements.
✨ Enhancements
One-Time Quick-Start Video
New accounts now receive a one-time quick-start video after completing or skipping the profiling survey.
The goal is simple: help new users understand FlyWP faster and get to their first successful workflow with less friction.
Improved FlySecurity Pro Installation & Removal
We improved the FlySecurity Pro installation and removal experience with better error handling, making these operations more reliable and easier to troubleshoot.
