Does FlyWP support both Nginx and OpenLiteSpeed?

Yes. When you create a WordPress site, the Server Stack field lets you choose Nginx or OpenLiteSpeed.

Can I choose between Nginx and OpenLiteSpeed when creating a website?

Yes. You choose the stack for each site on the Configuration step of Create New Site. Nginx is the recommended default, and OpenLiteSpeed is the alternative.

Which caching technology does FlyWP support?

Nginx sites use FastCGI Cache for page caching, with an optional Redis Object Cache plugin. OpenLiteSpeed sites use LiteSpeed Cache. See the page caching guide.

Which web server stack is better for WordPress?

Neither is better for every site. Nginx is FlyWP’s recommended stack and also runs PHP, Laravel, static and Node.js sites. OpenLiteSpeed supports .htaccess files and built-in LiteSpeed caching, which can help if you’re migrating from a traditional cPanel host.

Can I manage both Nginx and OpenLiteSpeed websites from one dashboard?

Yes. You can run Nginx and OpenLiteSpeed sites and manage them all from the FlyWP dashboard.

Are all FlyWP features available on OpenLiteSpeed sites?

No. Firewall and bot protection are available on Nginx sites only, not OpenLiteSpeed. Check the OpenLiteSpeed guide before you choose.
