May 2026 in Review: Global Blueprints, HTTP/3 Control & Infrastructure Improvements

May was focused on helping you build faster, deploy smarter, and manage your WordPress infrastructure with greater flexibility.

This month, we introduced two major additions to FlyWP: support for HTTP/3 management and the launch of Global Blueprints – curated, ready-to-use WordPress starter stacks that help you skip repetitive setup work and get projects off the ground faster.

Alongside these additions, we shipped several infrastructure improvements and reliability enhancements to make your day-to-day FlyWP experience smoother.

⭐ Key Feature Highlights

Global Blueprints: Launch Ready-to-Use WordPress Stacks

Build faster with Global Blueprints

Building a WordPress project often starts with the same repetitive process – installing plugins, configuring themes, and preparing the environment before any real work begins.

With the introduction of Global Blueprints, you can now launch curated WordPress starter stacks in a single click. Each Blueprint is designed for a specific use case and comes with pre-configured plugins and themes already wired together.

Available Blueprints include:

  • 🛒 Multi-Vendor Hub
  • 🏪 Starter Shop
  • 📈 Commerce Pro
  • ✍️ Creator Starter
  • 💼 Workplace Suite

HTTP/3 Toggle Support

FlyWP now gives you greater control over HTTP/3 support directly from your server settings.

With the new HTTP/3 toggle, you can easily enable or disable HTTP/3 based on your server requirements and compatibility needs.

Benefits include:

  • Better flexibility in server configuration
  • Easier testing and troubleshooting
  • More control over modern web protocol adoption

This addition makes it easier for users to optimize performance while maintaining compatibility across different hosting environments. Explore the full documentation to get started →

🔧 Enhancements

Ofelia Image Migration

We migrated the Ofelia image to our own maintained fork to improve long-term stability, maintainability, and control over future updates.

This change allows us to deliver infrastructure improvements more reliably while reducing dependency-related risks.

Improved Infrastructure Reliability

Several backend optimizations were rolled out throughout May to improve the overall stability of FlyWP and provide a smoother experience across server management workflows.

These updates lay the groundwork for future improvements while ensuring day-to-day operations remain dependable.

Fixes That Improve Daily Reliability:

Nginx Buffer Size Increase

We increased Nginx buffer sizes to help prevent 502 errors caused by large query parameters and oversized request headers.

This improves reliability for websites and applications that process larger requests.

Backup & Restore Improvements

We enhanced backup and restore operations with better error handling and improved recovery workflows.

Users should experience more reliable backup creation and smoother restoration processes across their servers.

🔄 The Direction We’re Moving Toward

FlyWP is evolving into something bigger than just a control panel.

A complete, simplified infrastructure layer for WordPress – where performance, control, and usability come together.

We’re continuing to focus on:

  • Cleaner, faster UI experience
  • Deeper server-level controls
  • Workflow simplification
  • Reliability at scale
