New in FlyWP: Server Scaling, Telegram Alerts & More

Managing server infrastructure should become easier as your business grows. With FlyWP v2026.56, you can scale supported cloud servers directly from your dashboard, receive alerts in Telegram groups, and take greater control of server monitoring notifications.

This release also brings clearer SSL troubleshooting, more reliable database migrations, important PHP security updates, and improvements to the White Label reseller experience.

Let’s explore what’s new.

New Features

Server Scaling for DigitalOcean, Vultr, Akamai & Hetzner

Growing your websites shouldn’t mean navigating complicated server upgrades manually.

With the new Server Scaling feature, you can upgrade supported servers from your FlyWP dashboard without managing the entire process yourself. FlyWP handles the server power cycle and plan upgrade, making it easier to move to a larger server plan as your resource requirements increase.

What’s included?

  • Scale directly from FlyWP: Upgrade your server to a larger plan from the dashboard.
  • Automated upgrade process: FlyWP powers off the server, applies the plan upgrade, and powers it back on.
  • Two scaling options: Upgrade CPU and RAM only, or upgrade CPU, RAM, and disk together.
  • Prorated managed billing: For managed servers, only the prorated difference is charged upfront. If the upgrade fails, the charge is fully refunded.

Server scaling is available for DigitalOcean, Vultr, Akamai, and Hetzner.

Whether you’re experiencing increased traffic or preparing for business growth, server scaling gives you a more convenient way to increase your infrastructure capacity as needed.

Telegram Group Alerts

Keep your team informed without requiring everyone to monitor the FlyWP dashboard.

With Telegram Group Alerts, you can connect up to five Telegram groups to your FlyWP account and receive server and site notifications directly in your group chats.

Alerts arrive as rich HTML messages with an Open in FlyWP button, allowing team members to jump directly to FlyWP when they need to investigate an issue.

Key highlights:

  • Connect up to five Telegram groups.
  • Receive server and site alerts directly in group chats.
  • View notifications in a readable HTML format.
  • Open FlyWP directly from an alert to investigate further.

This makes it easier for teams to stay informed and respond to infrastructure issues using a communication tool they already use.

Enhancements

Monitoring Alerts Are Now Opt-In

Server monitoring should keep you informed about the issues that matter to you, not overwhelm you with unnecessary notifications.

With this update, FlyWP no longer applies default thresholds to server monitoring alerts for CPU usage, memory usage, disk space, and connectivity.

You now need to configure your own thresholds to receive these monitoring alerts.

This gives you greater control over when alerts are triggered, allowing you to align notifications with your infrastructure requirements and monitoring preferences.

By choosing your own thresholds, you can tailor alerts to your environment instead of relying on predefined defaults.

Bug Fixes

Clearer SSL Domain Check Guidance

SSL installation can become complicated when a firewall, security plugin, or CDN blocks the domain verification request required by Let’s Encrypt.

Previously, these situations could result in a generic DNS error, making it harder to identify the actual problem.

FlyWP now provides more specific troubleshooting guidance when a security layer blocks the Let’s Encrypt domain challenge. The message includes the HTTP status code to help you understand what is preventing verification.

A new skip option also lets you proceed with the installation when you have confirmed that your configuration is correct.

These improvements make SSL troubleshooting more transparent and give you better information to resolve domain verification issues.

Hotfixes & Reliability Improvements

Longer Database Dump Timeout for Migrations

Large databases can take longer to export, especially when migrating sites with substantial amounts of data.

We’ve extended the database dump polling timeout from 10 minutes to up to 2 hours. This helps prevent longer-running database exports from causing premature migration failures.

If something does go wrong, FlyWP now surfaces the underlying error to make troubleshooting easier.

PHP Security Updates

We’ve rolled out patched PHP images addressing CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619 across all sites.

As part of this security update, session.upload_progress has also been disabled fleet-wide.

These changes strengthen the security baseline across FlyWP-managed sites.

More Stable PHP Rollouts

We’ve improved the PHP rollout supervisor to run as a fixed pool. This prevents Horizon from terminating busy rollout workers in the middle of their work, improving the reliability of PHP image rollouts.

White Label Plan Creation Restored

White Label resellers can once again create plans on their own servers while the FlyWP platform fee is disabled.

This resolves an issue affecting reseller plan creation and restores the expected workflow for affected configurations.

Wrapping Up

FlyWP v2026.56 brings meaningful improvements to server management, team notifications, monitoring, and infrastructure reliability.

With server scaling across four major cloud providers, you can upgrade server capacity directly from your dashboard. Telegram Group Alerts help your team stay informed, while opt-in monitoring alerts give you more control over notifications.

We’ve also improved SSL troubleshooting, extended migration database dump timeouts, rolled out PHP security updates, and restored White Label plan creation for affected resellers.
