Notifications: A Smarter Way to Stay Informed

FlyWP now has a full-fledged notification system designed to keep you updated on the events that matter.

You’ll find a new notification bell in the header and a dedicated notification history page at /notifications.

The system now supports 43 alerts across nine categories, expanding significantly beyond the previous email-only notifications.

New notifications cover important events such as:

• Stopped or failed backups
• Expired Git tokens
• Certificates expiring within 3 days
• Maintenance mode left enabled
• Failed deployments with the exact step where the failure occurred
• And more important infrastructure events

Built-In Notification Controls

You can manage which notifications you receive based on your workflow.

Seven critical alerts are always enabled to ensure important infrastructure events aren’t missed.

To prevent notification overload, repeated alerts for the same resource are also grouped within a cooldown window, keeping your notification history clean and actionable.

FlyWP Insight: Your Business in Slack

Meet FlyWP Insight, a new Slack bot that brings important business and infrastructure insights directly into your team’s Slack workspace.

Instead of constantly checking dashboards, you can now stay informed through automated reports and real-time alerts.

Ubuntu 26.04 LTS Support

FlyWP now supports Ubuntu 26.04 LTS as a server operating system.

You can provision Ubuntu 26.04 LTS servers across:

• DigitalOcean
• Vultr
• Akamai
• Hetzner
• AWS regions

Ubuntu 24.04 LTS remains the default for new server provisioning.

This gives teams more flexibility when choosing the operating system that fits their infrastructure and application requirements.

🛠️ Improvements & Fixes

• FlySecurity Pro Installation & Removal: We’ve improved the FlySecurity Pro installation and removal process, including better error handling to make these operations more reliable and easier to troubleshoot.
