I like FlyWP as a good alternative for other services that are quite expensive. I don’t have much experience using VPS, but it was quite easy to deploy a couple of servers and launch a few sites using FlyWP.Of course, there are some more things I would like to see, such as more native integrations with service providers such as Hivelocity, NetCup, AlwayzOn, HostUp, and OVH. Also, adding support for Litespeed servers. And more work on patching security issues. But I do believe that the service is rather new and the team is and will be working hard to make it better. I’m glad that I bought this deal.

At this time, I believe I will be requesting a refund. – Support portal was showing an internal error for me. I was able to submit a contact form but I expect that will delay a response. – By default, there are certain settings that you have no control over for each site initially, like the file editor being disabled. I have to go in and disable that feature to disable it for each site. – Then because a few customers had problems, they completely removed PHP 8.3 for everyone. That is a reckless decision when PHP 8.3 has been out since November 2023. But this is the key decision for me as it shows how they will make decisions in the future and it’s a no from me.

After running multiple VPS servers (managed and unmanaged) with a whole lot of providers I was looking to consolidate and save $$$. Fortunately FlyWP popped up at the right time. I have found the setup seamless connecting to, so far just 2 x VPS from Contabo which is not an officially a supported provided but setup was seamless using the custom server option. The feature set is good for a relatively new platform but the developers are very active on their FB group which gives me confidence that this will be feature full within the year. 5 Tacos from me as so far my experience has been great and I feel my money on the Tier 2 (contemplating moving up also) has been well spent.

FlyWP is not a hosting provider but a hosting management platform for WordPress sites. If you have a VPS/cloud hosting server then you can manage your server and sites by connecting with FlyWP.
Unfortunately, FlyWP only supports WordPress sites as of now. PHP, SaaS, or other applications are not supported yet. We might support other PHP apps like Laravel in the future, but our focus will always be on WordPress.
You will have to handle the monthly/yearly cost of your cloud server by yourself. Apart from that, there won’t be any additional cost except for the FlyWP subscription.
Yes, FlyWP fully supports multisite installations. You can create and manage multisite networks directly from the FlyWP dashboard, whether on subdomains or sub-directories.
