This release introduces support for newer PHP versions, Git-based deployment for HTML sites, and improvements to Cloudflare DNS synchronization, along with a few important bug fixes.
Here’s everything included in today’s update 👇
⭐ Highlight of the Release
PHP 8.5 Support for Nginx & 8.4 for OpenLiteSpeed
FlyWP now supports PHP 8.5 for Nginx servers and PHP 8.4 for OpenLiteSpeed (OLS).
This ensures better compatibility with the latest PHP improvements while giving users more flexibility when managing server environments.
Git Support for HTML Sites
You can now deploy and manage HTML sites directly using Git.
This makes it easier for developers to maintain static projects and push updates through their repository workflow.
Public Directory Backup Option
A new backup option has been added that allows users to back up the entire public directory, in addition to the existing wp-content-only backup scope. This provides more flexibility depending on how your site files are structured.
🌿 Enhancements:
We’ve strengthened core system behaviors to eliminate edge-case issues and improve overall platform reliability.
- Cloudflare DNS Domain Sync: Domain synchronization with Cloudflare DNS has been improved for more reliable and consistent updates when managing domains through FlyWP.
🛠 Bug Fixes:
- Incorrect Free Trial Email on Email Change: Fixed an issue where the wrong email notification was sent when a user updated their account email address.
- pCloud Multi-thread Upload Disabled: Resolved upload issues with pCloud backups by disabling rclone multi-thread uploads, ensuring more stable backup transfers.
