FlyWP is not a hosting provider but a hosting management platform for WordPress sites. If you have a VPS/cloud hosting server then you can manage your server and sites by connecting with FlyWP.
Unfortunately, FlyWP only supports WordPress sites as of now. PHP, SaaS, or other applications are not supported yet. We might support other PHP apps like Laravel in the future, but our focus will always be on WordPress.
You will have to handle the monthly/yearly cost of your cloud server by yourself. Apart from that, there won’t be any additional cost except for the FlyWP subscription.
Yes, FlyWP fully supports multisite installations. You can create and manage multisite networks directly from the FlyWP dashboard, whether on subdomains or sub-directories.
Yes, FlyWP allows you to manage and host multiple websites on a single server. The number of websites depends on your server’s capacity, making FlyWP an ideal solution for managing multiple WordPress sites efficiently.
FlyWP offers a flexible backup system where you can add an external backup provider and set up automated backups and restore accordingly (restore is coming soon).
Yes, FlyWP allows you to set up email gateways for specific sites. You can choose from popular options like PostMark, Sendgrid, and Mailgun, or configure a custom SMTP server for email sending
We currently have Google Cloud, Amazon S3, Cloudflare R2, Amazon S3, and other S3-compatible storage options. For other options, you can submit a feature request. If enough people want it – we may build it. We have a plan for SFTP backup support on the horizon.
We currently support only VPS server connection through SSH. Shared IP or hosting is currently unsupported.

No, you cannot connect cPanel/or use cPanel with FlyWP. These are different platforms altogether with different purposes. FlyWP is made from the ground up for hosting WordPress sites only and replaces the need for cPanel.
FlyWP allows you to add a custom server besides integrated server provider options (DigitalOcean, Vultr, Amazon EC2, Hetzner, and Akamai). You can check our docs for more info.
FlyWP doesn’t have the server migration feature at the moment. We will work on it hopefully. For site migration, follow our documentation.
Backups are stored in remote locations that you add. Currently, we support AWS S3, Cloudflare R2, Google Cloud, Digital Ocean Spaces, Wasabi, and any S3 Compatible Storage providers.
We recommend a fresh VPS with at least 2 vCPUs and 2GB of RAM. FlyWP supports Ubuntu 22.04 along with ARM64 architecture. Other server types, such as Debian and Windows, are not currently supported.
